During the past weeks, we have been working hard to deliver the OptionRoom protocol on time, we are excited to announce that we are ahead of schedule.

Foreword ✍🏽
Before we jump into the Beta preview we wanted to clarify the confusion about the OptionRoom protocol for newer community members:
- OptionRoom is a forecast market and a truly decentralized user governed oracle protocol
- A Forecast market is a platform for trading the outcomes of future events, the main differentiators of OptionRoom are:
- The platform is 100% user-owned (owners of the COURT tokens control the platform)
- User Incentives make up 38% of the total supply, which means everyone using the platform will be rewarded with ROOM tokens
- The team gets 0% of the fees generated by the protocol, all the fees will be used to buy back ROOM tokens from the market (75% of those fees go to liquidity providers for the markets, 25% are locked in the OptionRoom reward pool)
- The Oracle can be used to retrieve data that cannot be retrieved by traditional oracles (we have made multiple partnerships with other projects that will use the oracle for different types of verification) Every oracle request has a fee in ROOM tokens that will be burned.

- There’s also voters rewards for every oracle request that will be distributed among voters on that request based on their voting power (more COURT tokens staked = more reward)

On this interface, users can create a new forecast market. Market will be voted on by governance before being added to the platform. Users set the forecast market question, category, and end date. They can also choose to add additional Rules to simplify the resolution process.
This page is where users can participate in the market by buying Yes/No outcome tokens, it also shows information about the current market such as Volume, Current Outcome Probability, Sources.
This page shows all the currently listed markets with the ability to filter by category and market status.
Information page showing details about the current market including a simple position swap and manager interface. Users can enter positions by selecting ‘buy’ and the number of shares they want to buy.
